New Fishing Boat

Messr's W. & J. McIntosh, boatbuilders of Portessie, on Thursday launched a large & fine model of a Zulu boat, named the DOVE of Ianstown, for Messr's W. "Bogan" Smith, W. "Gauger" Smith & John McIntosh. She is of the following dimensions - Length of keel 51', overall 66', beam 18', depth 10'. This boat has, like several other boats launched lately, the accommodation for the crew aft, & this arrangement will likely be observed in all new boats. It may also be observed that this is the first boat which has been registered as belonging to Ianstown, the small, handsome & rapidly extending suburb of Buckie, never having hitherto been officially recognised as worthy of a separate nomenclature. Messr's McIntosh have orders for another five boats on hand.
